The organization called, “International Administrative Organization for Gargon Monastery” is a committee consisting of the lamas in charge of Drikung Kagyü Gar Monastery Dharma centers abroad, in both Eastern and Western continents, that are all considered projects that are carried out under the auspices of His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche’s enlightened activities. We have established this committee with the following goal. First, understand that organizations must absolutely act and cooperate in accordance with the customs and norms of the countries’ administrations and legal protocols in which they are located. However, since all the Gar Monastery Dharma Centers Dharma centers on the different continents co-exist under the guidance of one Lama and one Monastery, we require that they be organized under one systematic administrative framework. This committee has therefore been established in order to facilitate mutual co-operation, assistance, counsel and so forth between all of these Gar Monastery Dharma Centers since this is an organization representing the many affairs of His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche and of Gar Monastery.
